Elephant Ears

Elephant ears have such a fun leaf shape, I had to make one. As I was looking at photos, I saw there is a variety that has hot pink in the middle. The contrast results in a stunning leaf!

The piece is embroidered with thread using free-motion embroidery on a regular sewing machine, mounted on pins and framed.

I enjoy making art but also want to be as sustainable as possible – so I upcycle and restore tossed out home decor into beautiful works of art.
