The Creator, Anjori

Its hard navigating through all the negativity we get bombarded with today, and we can all use a bit of positivity to make this world a better place.
The art created at Bee Threadly is meant to do just that

I’m Anjori (un-jo-ree), owner, sewist and thread artist at Bee Threadly.

I make unique, wearable embroidered art to help you express your individuality and share your stories and passions with others; whether it’s the love of a flower, bulldozer or spreading positive, reaffirming messages. Because we all need more positivity in our lives!

A little about me ..

After giving birth to my daughter and not being able to tear myself away from her to return to my job in the tech sector, I decided to stay home and enjoy the beginning years of babies and all the cute things they do.

But my project oriented brain couldn’t handle not having something to work on so I began sewing – started with clothes and pattern testing. And as my daughter got older, she would ask me for different pictures on her shirts/dresses. Things like trains and bulldozers.

Well that didn’t not exist in the aisles of Target or Gymboree. I figured I needed to save some money to buy an expensive embroidery machine.

Right around that time, I saw a lady on Instagram embroidering without an embroidery machine – just painting, with her sewing machine. And I said to myself – if she can do it, I can do that!

And I created my first embroidery – one dress said HEART STRONG because I wanted my daughter to thing with her head as well as her head. The next one was EXPLORER because at that time, that is what my daughter wanted to be, an explorer!

After that, I got more and more into embroidery and wanted others to be able to express their interests, even if they couldn’t find it in the Target clothing racks. And that is why I thrive on custom orders, orders that only you can thing of because you see that missing piece in your closet or home.
