About Us
Its a hard navigating through all the negativity we get bombarded with today.
I believe that we can all use a bit of positivity to make this world a better place.
The art created at Bee Threadly is meant to do just that.
The Creator, Anjori
I’m Anjori (un-jo-ree), owner, sewist and thread artist at Bee Threadly.
I make unique, wearable embroidered art for sewists and non-sewists alike, who are looking to embellish garments to share their stories with people around them; whether it’s the love of a flower, bulldozer or spreading positive, reaffirming messages. Because we all need more positivity in our lives!
A software engineer, turned project manager, turned self taught sewist who likes to paint with her sewing machine. I started sewing in 2010, but didn’t really hit it off until 2017.
I like to sew (of course), read, paint, go on walks, and eat (but not necessarily cook) good food.
Why I started Bee Threadly?
After my daughter, Lilli, was born, I was determined to show her all the possibilities out there for her; whether it was ponies and unicorns or trains and cars. At 2 years old, she was fascinated with exploring, playing with trains and construction trucks. I, honestly, never knew the names of so many construction trucks before she decided she had to learn them all!
Following the sentiment that girls could wear clothes with dinosaurs or trains, just as much as they could wear rainbows and flowers; I started adding embroidery on to Lilli’s clothes. The embroidery usually corresponded with what she was interested in at the time. Lilli’s first request was a bulldozer dress. She wore that dress for 4 years before she finally let me take it out of rotation!
At Bee Threadly I strive to help you, and if you have children, your children, have fun clothes you want to wear, all the while, spreading positivity.
